Querida Hermosa Comunidad,

The space that once held Chilango is now beginning a beautiful new chapter ✨

I'm so happy to share that the location has been passed on to a wonderful local project: Off The Griddle — a local favorite loved by vegans, now opening their second location on Alberta (yes, where Chilango used to be!).

Not only is their food delicious, but the owner and team are truly amazing people — kind, hardworking, and passionate about what they do. They’ll be serving brunch daily from 9 AM to 3 PM 🥞🌞

I know how hard it is to open a new space — especially in times like these. So if Chilango ever gave you something special, please stop by, share the news, tag them, and help them grow and thrive. Your support really makes a difference :)

Thank you for being part of our journey. Even though we’re no longer there, it brings me joy to see the space come alive again with good people and good food 💫

As you can imagine, closing a restaurant is no easy task. I miscalculated. There’s still a million things to do to leave everything ready. I thought I could keep the service going while preparing to close, but the truth is we were overextending ourselves and falling short. So we made the decision to close earlier.
Thank you to our beautiful customers who kept us afloat through these years—thank you for your support, your care, and your kindness.
A special thanks to our regulars: seeing you, chatting with you, and getting to know your unique, precious selves has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
To my husband—thank you for being my rock, my advisor, and my partner in building this dream. Thank you for sharing this journey, for your compassion for animals, and for always wanting to build a better world, even when it means making sacrifices. I love you more than words can say.
To our collaborators, Diegui and Yos—thank you for staying with us until the very end. Thank you for the ups and downs, the beautiful and the hard, the growth and evolution. The journey we shared means so much to me.
