Empire Chinese Kitchen will be offering our annual community meal on Tuesday, April 1st from 12-3pm.

If you yourself would benefit from a hot meal, free of charge ,or know of any neighbors or friends that would, please join us for a courtesy dining experience!

Friends, it's our favorite day of the year!

Each year we serve tens of thousands of meals, but we know that our dine-in experience is out of reach for many. On Tuesday from 3-5pm, we will be serving up meals in our dining room to anyone who needs one.

Thank you, Allagash Outpost for featuring our historical building!

The current Empire Chinese Kitchen is at the site of the Empire Chinese Restaurant (1906-1953). There is no relationship between the businesses, excepting the creation of delicious and authentic food.

The owner of the restaurant/lounge directly before our residence (Empire Dine and Dance) suggested that we keep the name.

So over 100 years later, the Empire still stands.

After an amazing soft launch week of indoor dining service, today the restaurant's electric meter broke. We will be closed for dinner today, and will update when we are back up and running.

We want to thank you all so much for the overwhelming support you showed us yesterday! We are so excited to announce Empire Live 👑, our upstairs performance venue will be hosting it's premiere event on 2/25!

We would like to share a heartfelt thank you to all of our customers for their past and continued support. Though we do not have a date in mind, our plan is to re-open Empire’s dining room in the spring!

In the meantime we love serving takeout and are so grateful to still be a part of your homes. Please keep a look out for updates and upcoming upstairs events!
