It was my first (and hopefully not last) Chi-ibigan event in the old stomping grounds. Seeing so many old friends and making so many new ones really brought joy to my heart. This is what the community is about. How we show up for each other, no matter what, is what matters.

Thank you Charlie and Mel for helping me out and the Vives clan for showing up. You can always depend on family.

Cooking alongside other amazing chefs repping our culture and food is something to be proud of. How far we've all come and how far our food has made it in the culinary world. There are so many people to thank but honestly a simple thank you is not enough. To all that came and put us in the thick of it, much love to you all...
