Exactly two weeks ago, Lil' Poppa had to have an emergency surgery to have his appendix removed. In his own words "my appendix died" 😁.

The doctor mentioned after his surgery that his appendix was pretty bad. We are so grateful that it didn't tear or rupture. 🙌

To know Landon is to love him. He brightens the room and leaves an impact wherever he goes. We are so thankful to have him at Big Poppa Corn. And we are even more thankful that he is back to feeling good.

I can lift 50 pounds of popcorn or sugar with no problem. 💪 But now that I've gotten older, let me sneeze, cough, sit, or turn the wrong way and you'll hear more than kernals popping. 🙃

Bonus Tip: Use an Uncrustable as a quick ice pack and then you will have a little snack for later.

Saturday will be the seven year anniversary of Big Poppa Corn. 🍿 Seven years ago I stepped out and started selling kettlecorn at our local farmers market. It's mind blowing to see how far we've come!

I was asked "Do you remember?" 🤔

Absolutely I do. There are so many memories to count.

And one day, someone will have the courage to keep pushing through because you had the determination to keep going.
