Enthea Teahouse ‘s first free tea picnic potluck in the park of 2026 was an absolute success. Our next Tea picnic potluck in the park will be Saturday, June 13th, 4p-8p.

We had one hundred guests come to enjoy tea across six different tea tables! Hopefully we’ll have more next time.

Our biggest offering yet. We love seeing people come out and enjoy free tea and conversation in public with friends and friends-to-be!

As always this is a vegan potluck. Our teahouse is a vegan teahouse and we are sponsoring this event. All ways of eating are accepted, but we ask you to bring vegan dishes only for our events. Everyone can eat vegan if they want, not everyone can eat non-vegan.

For those who have never come out to a public tea time, don’t worry! It’s just tea in the park! Many, many people don’t know eachother, it’s meant to be a place everyone is welcome to come, share tea and meet friends, so if you are excited and come out. Don’t be shy if you want tea. It is your responsibility to advocate for yourself and your curiosity. There’s always space at a tea table somewhere even if it doesn’t look like there’s space, just ask. We will always make space even if it’s to guide you to a table where there is more room. Servers can’t always see or know when someone wants to join for tea but is too nervous or scared to speak for themselves. Please kindly speak for yourself if no one else is for you. We can’t help you without knowing your needs. Thanks!

Tea you June 13th, 4p-8p

05/27/2026

After three long seasons, June 7th from 4p-6p Koto and Tea returns to ! Josh of is back from his Japan study and ready to share new compositions in Enthea’s bamboo garden all summer long.

Come and enjoy Koto once more outside in the cozy atmosphere of our garden and enjoy tea with us during the warm summer season.

Sometimes, tea and good company is enough to remember the important things in life.

Come and share a cup with us at our full service tea bar or our menu tea service!

As a reminder is not a concert, this is background ambient live music we offer every single 1st and 3rd Sunday from 4p-6p for the last two years. It will continue through the year as available. Casual conversations, normal tones of voice and friendly drop ins for tea are advocated, encouraged and most welcome!

See you soon for Koto and tea!

It’s a glorious sunny Sunday in Portland, an absolutely perfect afternoon for tea in ‘s bamboo garden with our garden guardian Albus.

The post-tax season time of year can be a little slow for us so we’d love your support. Bring friends, family, a whole group or just yourself and a book, we love people who come to study, or just vibe. We implore you to use us as a community space, not just a “special occasion experience.” We exist for you and do not exist without you.

Looking forward to sharing some sunny dappling over tea!

Tea potluck picnics in the park return this Saturday May, 23rd, 4p-8p at Laurelhurst Park in Portland, OR!

This is a free tea community event sponsored by and to promote sharing tea in public spaces. Tea doesn’t have to just be for private events, behind ticketed venues, tea should be shared!

Join us this Saturday for the first of many tea picnics, we aim to do once a month through the summer. There will be multiple tables and you can sit at any and enjoy tea for free!

Please bring a vegan dish to share as well, we request to kindly bring something more than a bag of chips (we’ve had chips only potlucks before which is why we’re asking) because the servers are often spending the afternoon preparing for this and rely on the potluck to eat once we arrive. Thanks!

Looking forward to sharing in the warmth of the day and community again with you all.

We will be on the North entrance side of Laurelhurst, past the bathroom in the first open meadow across from entrance. Tea you then!

SpeakTeasy community night May15th is inside tonight! Let’s keep it cozy with a fireplace and warm tea with friends and friends-to-be. Casual community conversation done right every Friday from 7p-10p.

Topic: gentleness

In a world, in an era where gentleness is often seen as weakness, as easily manipulated, often negligible, how does gentleness become a revolutionary act in a culture so bound by apathy, arrogance and self-interest?

How does gentleness affirm our humanity and guard against the numbing effects of modernity and its fast-paced ways of dismissing kindness and gentleness as useless acts of an old world.

Let’s talk about how gentleness is a form of soft power in a culture that constantly underestimates it.

All this and more at SpeakTeasy

$10-$20 sliding scale includes tea all night

We are inside for the evening! See you then.
