🌞Nothing says Wednesday night like a delicious dinner at MEC and perfectly paired Greek 🍷- what more could you ask for? Our favorite today is 2020 Kontozisis A-Grafo, 100% organic malagousia with 35 days of skin contact! This wine is clean and mineral driven with floral notes, bright orange and picked mint. 🍊 🌺

The first of our retrospective series should be an obvious one...

This set of headshots were taken right around our opening day, nearly 10 years ago. Kasey was a young, eager, cook stepping into a major role as the executive chef at MEC and a partner in the company.

A lot has changed for Kasey over the last 10 years... he's now a dad to two amazing boys and is leading a company of restaurants rather than just the one! A few things have stayed the same though.... He's just as photogenic, he's just as fun to be around, and, most importantly, he's just as eager to continue growing and improving.

(Oh and he is sober now so the wine glass here is out of place😃)

MEC literally wouldn't be what it is today with Kasey so what better way to get off a retrospective than with the man himself.

Here's a little love letter for our kale salad. The star of the show here is definitely the muhammara. Muhammara is a Syrian dip made predominately with peppers, walnuts and pomegranate molasses. This creates a sweet and softly spicy dip with a beautiful texture. We toss a salad of kale, apples, , toasted walnuts and manchego in mustard vinaigrette. That salad then gets tucked into a bowl lined with muhammara and a marriage made in heaven is formed. This salad is available in house and to go - seven days a week. 🥗❤

New dish alert! 🚨 This is our charred cabbage. We start with savoy cabbage that we hit with extra virgin olive oil, preserved lemon, lemon juice, and salt. We serve it over a bit of chermoula and garnish it with a crispy spice blend that consists of ginger, garlic, shallots, cumin, coriander, sesame, nigella, and aleppo. This one is only available in house and it is definitely worth stopping by to try! ❤

New dish alert. 🚨 Sumac Spiced Confit Chicken Leg! We are rubbing the chicken in sumac, allspice, black pepper, cinnamon, cumin, and coriander. We are serving it up with roasted nut & onion spread, sumac spiced apples, delicata squash, and pumpkin seed dukkah. 🍎🐔

Sweet potatoes with Calabrian chili honey, herbed toum, marinated onion, sesame, and cilantro! These are a wonderful combination of sweet and savory. This is just one of the many updates coming to the menu this fall so keep your eyes peeled for many more updates!
