🦪💃 Maine OysterFest 2025 kicked off with a splash of history… and a little sea-spray on our dancing shoes. We set a world record for the most oyster growers dancing together in one place.

To all the oyster superfans joining either of today's OysterFest sessions (1:30 and 3) — it’s time to dress to impress… the oysters.

Think:
👻 Halloween-ish costumes - eg, that's Johnny Bivalve as Madhatter
🦪 Tees from your favorite oyster farms
👖 Pants embroidered with oysters — yes, this exists, and yes, we salute you
🎩 Pearls, stripes, maritime chic…bonus points for shuck-tacular creativity

No pressure! Come dressed for the party and the weather. If you need to shed some layers, we have coat racks in the lobby, where security checks IDs and keeps an eye on everything. We look forward to seeing you at 170 Anderson Street in East Bayside.

🦞 Before you head out for Halloween fun on Friday, join us for one of Maine’s tastiest traditions — The Maine Lobster Chef of the Year Competition! 🎃✨

Doors open at 12:30 PM for an afternoon of incredible lobster creations from some of Maine’s top chefs, paired with wines from Blue Lobster Urban Winery, Après seltzer, and spirits from Hendrick’s, Monkey Shoulder, and Ketel One.

Graze, mingle, and cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award while our judges crown this year’s champion. Proudly presented in partnership with Shuck’s Maine Lobster and Whitecap International Seafood Exporters.
