We spent the day doing yard work and, of course, somehow that turned into another garden bed 🌿

The new bed is officially in! We planted a melon plant we scored on sale for 50 cents 🍈🙌, added some pole beans, and tucked in a little leaf lettuce for this year.

Because apparently I am physically incapable of putting in a garden bed and just… leaving it empty until next year. 😂🤷‍♀️

Oh, and I also managed to get ants in my pants. LITERALLY. 🐜😳

Moved some bricks that were covered in tiny black ants and suddenly they were ALL. OVER. ME. If you saw me doing some kind of wild dance in the yard today… mind your business. 😂😂😂

Garden bed: done. 🌱
Melon: planted. 🍈
Beans and lettuce: in. 🫘🥬
Dignity: questionable.
Ants: hopefully evicted. 🐜😂
