I've witnessed a lot of my peeps sign this door! It's the door at Lamplighter that you sign when it's your last shift. Tonight, I got to witness our son, Benjamin, sign the door, and then I signed it! It's been a great ride everyone! Thank you to all who have signed and to all that came before! We never could've done it without you; our Lamplighter Peeps!

Happy New Year to all our dear friends! We are coming back for our 2nd last night! I was unable to gage my beef accurately, so we have a lot of steaks and prime rib left! Our menu will be limited basically to those items + chicken and a little bit of fish, and of course, we still have appetizers and cheesecake to round out your meal! Join us this Friday night, Jan 3rd from 5-8:30! Thank you all for your patience and support!

Bairco Construction has had their Christmas party for many years at The Lamplighter, and Stacy Bair is an amazing human and party planner! Every year, she plans games and crafts and a scavenger hunt grande finale! This year, the craft was making gratitude tiles for us! I am so grateful for her thoughtfulness and the many years of seeing what she has planned! Thanks for entertaining us all these years! We will miss you!

Nearly fifty years ago, Ray and Shirley Norberg had big ideas of owning their own business and embarked on a journey in pursuit of the American Dream. From that dream, The Lamplighter Inn was born! They devoted their lives to serving the people of Powell and the surrounding area. We acknowledge that without their hard work and sacrifice, we would not enjoy the success we have today.
We also know that we never could've done this without the help of all of our faithful employees! Our Lamplighter family has been a huge part of our lives and we love you all!
Our greatest joy came from getting to work with Ben, Molly, and Max! We are so happy to have had this opportunity to spend time with them and instill a strong work ethic!
As we roll into the last couple of weeks of operation in our restaurant, we want to thank all of you for your loyal patronage over the years! We have made so many dear friends on this journey! We are humbled by your support and cannot thank you enough! It has been our great pleasure to serve you!
We will be serving lunch through Friday, December 20th. Dinner will be served on our normal schedule through New Year's Eve. We can't go out without that final celebration of 50 years! After that, if we still have food, we will be serving dinner on Friday, Jan 3rd and Sat, Jan 4th with a slightly smaller menu as we work through reducing our inventory.
Our liquor store and motel will remain open for all of your lodging and beverage needs.
We wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and all the very best in the years to come! It's been a great run! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

A couple of weeks ago, I noticed some discussion about who has the best burger in town. It's true that my opinion is a little biased, but the truth is that WE HAVE THE BEST BURGERS in town! Our burgers do not come out of a box in the freezer. We trim out our steaks and grind those trimmings into ground steak for our delicious and juicy burgers that hang over the bun! Believe me, you will not be disappointed or leave hungry!
