Today, we want to take a moment to congratulate one of our employees from our Newport restaurant, Haylim Guzman, on graduating from Eastern Washington University tomorrow!

While attending school, Haylim not only worked weekends at Mi Pueblo but also worked for the university in Cheney. She is also a first-generation college graduate, proudly representing her roots and where she comes from.

From the day she arrived in the United States, Haylim has worked tirelessly, pouring her heart, determination, and dedication into achieving her American dream. Tomorrow, she will graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, along with minors in Spanish, Psychology, and Economics.

Haylim, words cannot describe how proud our entire family is of you. You never stopped chasing your dreams—or the dreams of that little girl from Tegucigalpita, Honduras 🇭🇳.

Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment. We love you, and we are so proud of everything you have achieved. May you never stop pursuing your dreams, because the world is truly yours.
