What is Open Mic?

An open mic (short for "open microphone") is a live, un-auditioned show at a venue like a pub, coffeehouse, or comedy club where audience members can sign up to perform on stage.

We host open mic with Beth every Thursday from 7-9 and all ages are welcome!

Come support our locals as they shed their stage fright and take the mic or get out of your comfort zone and take it yourself!!!

What do you have to share with the community? Help us build our attendance on Thursday to create an amazing family space for all to enjoy and grow!

Thanks to all of you, Junior’s Grill has won Best Mac & Cheese the last two years, and we were runner-up the year before that. We truly can’t thank you enough for showing up for us year after year! ❤️

Did you know that happy hour started in the 1920s after WWI in the American Navy?

Sailors would get together on the ships for happy hour social club to avoid the drudgery of sea life. Socializing together and enjoying doing activities like boxing, singing or watching movies. Overall it was shown to improve morale.

During prohibition happy hour adapted to a drinking term where people would go to a speakeasy before dinner to have a drink.

You know what hasn’t changed since then?

Happy hour definition is still a period of time where people can engage in relaxing activities to avoid the drudgery of life.
