Life has changed significantly for all of us! So many things have happened in the few years and we have shifted our priorities. One thing that has not changed is our strong commitment to family and to helping our dad see the visions he had for himself come to life. We are honored to be collaborating with the and hosting the Black History Brunch & Trivia in honor of MLK weekend with our gracious hosts and partners at this Sunday!

We would love to see you all there, and have a strong showing of community for what will be a fierce and fiery function, full of ferocious fashion, phenomenal food, for friends, family, and all folx of all flavors!

Not only are we excited for to be operating the bar for needed liquid warmth, but also to have featured and available for purchase!

While we’re still processing, responding to, and following up on the immense amount of love and support we received this weekend for the first of our partnership events with / , we wanted to thank our partners, and community for showing up and showing out in embracement of our native bredren and indigenous communities 🙏🏿

So grateful to , , , , and all the native leadership, friends, and family that showed up in community and collaboration — it was beyond an honor to hold space, break bread, and engage in the neccesary fellowship needed to remain in alignment and cohesion as marginalized folks co-entangled within the same struggle ✊🏿✊🏽✊🏿✊🏽

And of course, to our consistent, ever growing, like mycelium (word to emergent strategy 🙏🏿✨) community of friends, family, and ally’s in our fight to center community over commodities, people over politics, and impact over income — wouldn’t be possible without you all!

Bintimani The Resturant] is beyond excited to announce the first of many partnership endeavors with the venerated community, youth and arts centered org , especially to acknowledge, support, and uplift our Native American brothers, sisters and all Native folx ✊🏿

All Bintimani The Resturant] food served will be FOR THE FREE, donations are encouraged and welcomed, as 100% will be going to the Rhode Island American Indian Heritage Commission () through the Providence Cultural Equity Initiative (), which we are grateful to Raymond “Two Hawks” Watson () for his leadership and support with this community collaboration 🙏🏿

There will also be vendors and artwork by individuals respresenting local indigenous tribes present and available for community to support their work and business (100% of their profits remain with the vendors) 🙌🏿

Greeting folks, as we are gearing up for a very exciting update and announcement regarding our future very very soon — we are still working on submitting our 2021 federal and state taxes.

Even with our business acumen and experience, we’ve found so many of the local processes for businesses to not only be very cumbersome, but not explained very well, nor the availability of resources and organizations available/at capacity to help navigating these processes.

Thus after struggling to figure this out on our own, we are turning to our community that has been consistent and vital to our continued progress.

If you are someone, or know someone, or represent an organization, or know of an organization that can help get in Good Standing, specifically through supporting us with our annual RI Tax Portal documentation (RI 1065, Sales Filings, Sales Permit, etc) please reach out asap!

We greatly appreciate the support and are beyond willing to compensate and be eternally grateful for the help in our time of great need 🙏🏿

While we aren’t able to confirm or announce our opening yet, as we’ve received this beyond helpful contribution from , in addition our community raised funds from YOU ALL, we’ve exceeded and doubled our fundraising goal towards being able to cover the upfront costs of securing a location! We are immensely grateful to their herculean efforts to manifest this contribution, and eternally indebted to our community’s collective efforts towards the GoFundMe 🙏🏿

While our hopes to re-open at the location in East Providence have unfortunately fallen through due to factors beyond our control, we have identified an even more ideal location on Federal Hill at 36 Spruce St., the former Bun Fun.

We have submitted an application, and offered 6 months rent up front. We have yet to hear back, and given our determination to open before the summer’s end, we are calling on you all once again. If as a community, particularly those connected to institutions, agencies, on any affiliations of potential influence, have the ability to reach out to the broker or owner, as a hail mary effort to to encourage, endorse, and/or support our application in any way, we humbly, and frankly desperately, ask and urge you to reach out on our behalves — strictly to provide the community-backed affirmation, that others would love to see us at this location!

We cannot (but undoubtedly intend to) express the full extent of our appreciation for all of you who’ve supported in small and large ways, as it’s been the motivation we’ve needed every day within this 2 year journey, that we hope bears fruit shortly, and ushers in a new chapter for our family and our collective community 🙏🏿
