We have been holding off on talking about this out of respect to the family and their wishes for privacy, that being said, many of you have called, emailed, messaged and stopped by to inquire…to answer your questions, sadly our Julian has passed on.
This is by no means the best picture of him, however it is one I keep on my desk and it inspires me every day.
Julian was not afraid to push, challenge, argue, compliment, collaborate or try things outside of his comfort zone.
He was also the first person to give someone a chance and always applauded people’s success when they achieved. He was certainly his own brand of adventurer but I think the thing he enjoyed the most was facilitating other people’s journeys.
Truly a legend, I mean when do you meet someone where all the stories are true.
Despite all of their achievements they were still just that young kid who would sweep the sidewalk or help someone push their car when it broke down or set up a rock’em sock’em robot championship in an abandoned warehouse.
I can not think of anyone so deserving of the phrase “they broke the mold.”
It has been really amazing connecting with so many former team mates and friends long out of touch and to share with one another stories long forgotten.
Julian you truly impacted many people’s lives and you are missed.
We hope your journey to the next realm finds you peace & until we meet again I will hold some of the lessons we learned together dear and think fondly of our years together.
Godspeed and I hope you’re listening to !!! Wherever you are.
