One of the greatest joys of this coffee shop has been watching it become so much more than a place to grab coffee and a pastry.

Earlier this week, we shared that whether you need a change of scenery to get some work done, want to catch up with a friend over coffee, or simply need a quiet place to pause and recharge, we hope you’ll think of us. Seeing so many of you do exactly that has filled my heart.

Today, these sweet kiddos spread out their games at one of our tables while Mom got some work done nearby. I couldn’t help but smile. Moments like this are exactly what I dreamed about all those years ago—not just baking from scratch, but creating a place that feels warm, welcoming, and lived in. A place where conversations happen, friendships grow, work gets done, kids laugh, and for just a little while, life slows down.

That’s always been the heart behind what we’re building.

It’s going to be another hot, hot, hot day, so please stay safe. If you need a place to cool off, take a breather, or simply enjoy a little peace, our doors are open until 2. We’d love to welcome you in. 💕

How are we already halfway through the year? It feels like we were just welcoming January, and now July is here! Time has a funny way of flying by, so we’re slowing down for a moment to enjoy one of summer’s simple pleasures.

Meet our July Seasonal Scone… 🍋 Lemon Poppyseed! 💛

Every single scone is made from scratch, just like everything else in our kitchen. We fold in plenty of fresh, bright lemon flavor and just the right amount of poppyseed to create a soft, buttery scone that’s perfectly balanced—light, fresh, and full of sunshine in every bite.

Whether you’re starting your morning with a cup of coffee, catching up with a friend, or simply treating yourself because it’s Thursday, we hope this little taste of summer brings a smile to your day.
