Prep / Line Cook — Wine Bar
We are looking for a dependable and passionate Prep / Line Cook to join our wine bar kitchen team. This position is responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen organization, and executing dishes with consistency and attention to detail in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare ingredients according to recipes and chef standards.
* Assist with daily mise en place and station setup.
* Cook and plate menu items during service with consistency and presentation in mind.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, coolers, and storage areas.
* Follow food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures.
* Monitor product freshness and communicate inventory needs.
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
* Support seasonal menu changes and special events when needed.
Qualifications:
* Previous kitchen or prep experience is preferred.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and organization.
* Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
* Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and knife skills.
* Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
