Old Forester survived by bottling legally under a medicinal wh***ey permit on Louisville's historic Wh***ey Row. This 115 proof expression is what those barrels tasted like back then; bold, rich, and unapologetic. Two iconic American traditions, one very fitting Thursday pour. 🎃

Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr. didn't just make great wh***ey — he fought for it. The man behind the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, which set the standard for quality and transparency in American wh***ey. This straight rye is his only non-bourbon expression, made from a mash bill of pure rye and malted barley, and bottled at 100 proof exactly as the Colonel intended.
