For over 30 years the Zendejas family has been proud to serve the Inland Empire with delicious home-made, authentic Mexican food from Michoacán, Mexico. The Zendejas family immigrated from the small town of Curimeo, Michoacán to Chino, back then, a small city in Southern California. Genaro Zendejas Sr. Immigrated first in 1950 and his wife and children soon followed from 1960-1966. When the Zendej
as family arrived to the city of Chino, they worked in the agricultural fields in San Bernardino and Riverside county, picking fruits. In 1982 the Zendejas family opened their first restaurant in the city of Chino. they incorporated the central and northern Mexico cooking style to their cuisine, utilizing only the freshest vegetables and high quality meats and ingredients to their menu. The Zendejas men have always been sport oriented. they played soccer from a young age and transitioned to American Football as field goal kickers in high school and college. Several of the Zendejas siblings and cousins played in professional football leagues such as USFL with the LA Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, San Diego Chargers, Washington Redskins and the New England Patriots, and the most recent field goal kicker in the family plays for the Arizona Sun Devils.
