I am incredibly honored and deeply grateful to receive the 2026 Emerging Leader Award from the PacificCounty Edc.
To be recognized for doing work that I genuinely love in a community I care so deeply about means more than I can put into words.
From creating Alder + Co., with the goal of giving local makers, artists, and small businesses a place to showcase their work to a wider audience… to serving as Theatre Manager at the Raymond Theatre… to helping lead the amazing team at Pacific Events District 501 c3as we create events that bring our community together—like Tides & Timbers Brew Fest, Pacific County Pride, Tokeland Woodfest, Willapa Valley Music Festival, and so much more—this journey has been one of connection, creativity, and community.
But no recognition like this is ever earned alone.
None of this would be possible without my incredible husband, Paul Karnatz, whose support, encouragement, and belief in me have carried me through the busiest seasons and biggest ideas.
And to the dedicated volunteers, employees, teammates, and community partners I have the honor of working alongside—thank you. Your passion, hard work, and heart are what make these events, spaces, and experiences possible.
This award may have my name on it, but it reflects the work of so many people who show up, pitch in, and believe in making Pacific County a vibrant place to live, work, and celebrate.
