🧀 Happy National Cheese Day! 🧀
It's probably no surprise that National Cheese Day has become one of my favorite food holidays.
What started as a love for gathering people around good food has turned into a true passion for all things charcuterie — and, of course, cheese!
When I first started creating boards, it wasn't about making something picture-perfect. It was about bringing people together. Over time, I found myself fascinated by the stories behind artisan cheeses, the craftsmanship of local producers, and how a simple wedge of cheese can completely transform a gathering.
From creamy bries and sharp cheddars to funky blues and alpine-style favorites like Alp Blossom, I've fallen in love with discovering new flavors and sharing them with others. Every board I create is a chance to introduce someone to a new favorite cheese, spark conversation, and create a memorable experience.
One of my personal goals for 2026 is to take an even deeper dive into the world of cheese. The more I learn, the more I realize there is to discover—from cheesemaking traditions and aging techniques to regional styles, pairings, and the incredible people behind them. I'm excited to continue expanding my knowledge so I can bring even more unique flavors, educational experiences, and thoughtfully curated boards to all of you.
One of the best parts of this journey has been connecting with local farms, cheesemakers, and small businesses whose passion shines through in every product they make. Supporting those makers while helping people celebrate life's special moments has made this adventure more rewarding than I ever imagined.
So today, I'm raising a cracker (and maybe a little wedge of cheese) to all the cheesemakers, farmers, food lovers, and customers who have supported Board & Butcher Co. along the way.
