Tacos Las Espadas quietly opened their doors on November 1st, and wow… this spot is already bringing something totally new to downtown Redding. 🌮🔥

If you remember Pasta Pronto, that building has a whole new life now — and they’re serving OG tacos, the real deal. From what we can tell, they’re the only place in Redding that’s ever offered this style of taco, and that alone makes it worth checking out.

It’s always exciting to see a fresh local business jump in and add something different to our food scene. If you’re in the area, stop in, try it out, and show them a little Redding love.

Our Menu is here and we couldn’t be any more excited for it! Our concept is unique and simple, bringing in popular Mexican dishes and adding our own twist! 🌮
Here, you build your meal just the way you like it!
Start by choosing your favorite meat (all meats cooked over our charcoal grill) —whether it’s savory carne asada, tender ribeye, flavorful al pastor, or any of our other delicious options. Then pick your style: tacos, burritos, quesadillas, bowls, and more. 🌯
After ordering, head over to our salsa bar where you can customize your creation with our house-made salsas, fresh toppings, and traditional garnishes. Mix, match, and make it your own—every plate is crafted by you, for you! 😊

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the closing of Pasta Pronto. After over 23 wonderful years of serving our community, we've made the difficult decision to close our doors. This journey has been filled with incredible moments, unforgettable meals, and the joy of bringing people together.
We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to each and every person who has been a part of this chapter—our loyal customers, dedicated staff, and the vibrant community that made this place a special one. Your support, love, and patronage have meant the world to us. It’s been a true privilege to serve you, whether it was your first visit or your hundredth.
While this is the end of an era for us, we will cherish the memories we’ve made, the friendships we’ve forged, and the many stories shared over a good meal. We are proud of the work we’ve done and the experiences we’ve been able to create together.
