To Cafe' Bella's fans, friends, family, customers and vendors,
The time has come to write this note of closure. Cafe' Bella's last day of business will be this Saturday, June 7th, 2014 from 9-3.
I'd like to express my deep gratitude for each and every one of you. My five years of sharing food, fabulous espresso, art, good times as well as the bittersweet moments have brought me great joy, huge challenges and life lessons as well as dear, heartfelt connections with so many of you.
You may be asking yourself, "But WHY?". Essentially, a new lease was presented by the new landlord and the rent increase is way more than I can come up with. And so I see this creative chapter in my life as a cafe' owner/businesswoman wind down for now.
I will have some time in the coming weeks to attend to much that has fallen by the wayside in my world due to the consuming energy it takes to run a food establishment. A return to art and painting, making time for friends, home improvements and perhaps, some travel adventures are on the horizon.
I do not rule out new food endeavors (catering, pop-ups, cart, etc) down the line as delicious food is still a passion of mine, but there are no plans in the works at this moment in time. It is said, "As one door closes, another opens" and new opportunities may abound for me, perhaps, far better than I can imagine.
I hope that you will stop by the cafe' in the next few days. Saturday will be our last day of business from 9-3. And Sunday, I'll finish the process of moving out, gathering my things, taking down the signs, the art on the walls, etc. If you'd like to swing by on Sunday around 1 p.m. for a small goodbye gathering, please do. I'd love to see you!!!
