Hey everyone meet Ari! She found us about two weeks ago on a super remote village beach in Baja del Sur. She was super hungry and covered in ticks when she came up to our van looking for help. Over the past two weeks we have been able to get her very well fed and a clean bill of health. She is currently looking for her furever home and we brought her back to the states with us. She is super sweet, incredibly intelligent and food motivated so is easy to train. She loves getting to adventure, go on long walks, play and snuggle. She is good with other dogs and has learned to enjoy car rides.

We are currently taking resumes to be her new family (and also donations for our dog food fund venmo !) We will be heading back up towards the Reno/Tahoe area in June so let us know if you need a new snuggle bug in your life!

I am heartbroken to hear about the death of a member of the Reno Unhoused community last night and the hospitalization of two members of Food Not Bombs Reno. This was a senseless act of violence committed against people who are trying to help the greater Reno Sparks area. If you are able please consider donating to the GoFund Me link below

Hola hola! Our family on wheels has been having an amazing time over the last six months exploring the west coast from the hotsprings and forests of Oregon to almost at the tip of Baja del Sur. I've started to get calls and emails in regards to Teacher Appreciation Week and I wanted to pass along contact info for the other coffee trucks in town so you can get them booked for your school, favorite teachers, etc!

Iván and I made it back from Burning Man and had planned on staying in the Greater Reno Tahoe area for a few more weeks in order to play in Tahoe and get the opportunity to see everyone before we left. The heat and the smoke have changed our decision and we will be leaving on Monday evening after we celebrate my Dad's birthday with him. We will be heading north, not sure what that means exactly yet, but you can follow along via my personal Instagram page . If you have any amazing spots in Oregon and Washington feel free to comment them below.

We will be back in Mid November for a week or two and are taking reservations now for all of those lunch/dinner meet ups and doggie play dates 🐾🐾 that haven't been able to happen yet!

We are so excited to be cleaning up the trailer to get it ready for our friends to take over! They are planning on keeping it a coffee trailer and want to still offer high quality organic products with a Latina flare!

Can't wait to announce more on thier behalf! In the meantime Captain Mariah has been enjoying have more quality time to spend volunteering with the local mutual aid groups that she is passionate about. We would love to take donations for Food Not Bombs Reno. We absolutely love Food Not Bombs because they focus on helping our local community by offering plant based food and beverages in addition to building a sense of community and supporting people with books, art supplies, CBD products, clothing, bedding, toiletries and personal health items such as condoms and period products.

If you have any non perishable plant based food products, summer clothing, books (I had several requests for books in Spanish last week,) art supplies, toiletries or whatever lying around your house that you would like to donate to this week's group please DM or text the Captain and we will arrange to pick them up. I personally would like to ask for second hand goods instead of contributing to our global pollution problem of buying more stuff new. Thanks in advance!

UPDATE: Sold to one of my best friends! I am so excited to make announcements for them as soon as they have more information.

The trailer is officially for sale. I am asking $15k for just the trailer or $20k for everything.

This includes a brand new generator, a back up generator, large freezer, dorm fridge, professional bean grinder, breville single group head espresso machine (only a few months old,) soda stream, cold brew system, several electric water kettles, the 2002 sno pro trailer with spare tire (tires are new,) all of the milk pitchers, spoons, pour spouts, ice scoops, ice cream scoops, etc that you will need to get your dream beverage business up and running, and all of our left over inventory of cups, lids, spoons, syrups, etc.

This trailer is perfect for all of your beverage, dessert or prepackaged desires. It is not designed to cook food in. I will be removing the Java Ship decals.

Tomorrow is the our Final Voyage Party at Best Buy 155 Los Altos Parkway in Sparks from 10a-2p! I know that you are all very sad that I am closing down Java Ship Coffee and in some ways I am too. But mainly I feel super happy because I am following my dreams. I have absolutely loved being the Captain of this wonderful Ship for the past nine plus years and you have all be a pleasure to serve. But it is time for me to spend quality time with my family and get to take a long and much needed break from working my b***y off!

In October of 2020 Ivan, Sabian 🐾 and I bought a passenger van that we have since converted into a liveable space. Our plan was to be able to travel and see more of the US and Mexico but because I am a one woman Java Ship show that plan was widely unrealistic. I know that it sounds crazy to close a super successful business in order to be happily unemployed and live in a van full time but that is exactly what I am doing and we are so excited to be able to make this reality happen. It hasn't escaped me that I would not be in this beautiful position if it wasn't for the years of love and support from you. I appreciate each and every one of you and hope that I can inspire you to chase your dreams too, even if they seem totally crazy and way outside the normally social standards.

I started Java Ship Coffee at the age of 23, as a broke college student with my good friend Vanessa who was 19. That s**t was crazy! I'm glad that I haven't changed at all. If you would like to follow along with us on our travels give me a follow on IG
