New shirt, straight off the press — a full flag built block by block out of our own KD logo, red, white, and blue down to the stitching. “250th Anniversary” across the bottom. Heathered blue, soft as your favorite Sunday brunch.

Some sandwiches are lunch. This one is therapy.

But an afternoon in Reston, VA with a Chicken Manchego Royal from Kook Dogg Cafe will fix everything.

Not some things. Not most things. Everything.

The inbox can wait. The to-do list will still be there tomorrow. Whatever has been sitting heavy on the week right now — RTC West has a table with your name on it and a Chicken Manchego Royal that has absolutely no interest in your problems. Only in making them feel smaller.

Ooh la la... This July 14th, we’re bringing Paris to Reston for one unforgettable evening.

Join us for a 4-course dinner crafted to celebrate Bastille Day in true French style — think baked brie, braised short rib, and a dessert trio we’re calling the French Ménage à Trois. 🍷🥐

The night kicks off with a welcome cocktail of your choice — a French Spritz, a silky Butterfly Effect, a classic Boulevardier, or a glass of André Berthet Rayne Côtes du Rhône. Then settle in for a menu that’ll make you forget you’re not actually in the 7th arrondissement.

A gentle reminder.
Not every problem in Reston needs to be solved tonight.

The OG Reston Supreme just hit the menu at Kook Dogg in Reston, VA — and if Chef Paul’s reaction says anything, it will still be there when you close the laptop, put the phone down, and give yourself permission to just be somewhere good for a while.

A great pizza. A favorite table in RTC West. An hour that belongs entirely to you.

Sometimes that’s the whole plan and it’s enough.
