Our highest scoring coffee in 2 years.
This Panama Geisha from Damarli Estate’s shaded Plot 11 earned a final score of 90, placing it in rare territory within specialty coffee.
Plot 11 is the same shaded Geisha block that placed 15th at Best of Panama this year, with the competition lot scoring a 92 and selling at auction for $680 per kilogram. Our lot was harvested on a different day from that same standout season.
What impressed us most was balance. Sweet florals, blackberry, jasmine, and ginger beer move seamlessly together. Let it cool and a soft banana finish emerges.
