What’s the hardest part of running a business?
I gotta be honest, I thought today was going to be hard for a completely different reason than a pipe bursting through the wall.
I still had to take my dog out to potty before heading out the door, cursing the non-existence of powers like teleportation or super speed.
But as the day progressed, more information revealed the next steps, guided by those around me. And I was surprisingly calm. Isn’t entropy just a law of existing? Isn’t the goal to control what we can control?
The hardest part of being a business owner is honestly your love for the people — the ones who work for you, and the ones you work for (meaning the faces that come in day in and day out).
“Weren’t you closed at weird hours last week?” Yup — and wouldn’t you know, it was for another unrelated plumbing problem to solve. I guess Richmond was in need of a flood after all that scorching heat. Might as well start at Rostov’s. 😉
