Join us on Saturday, July 18th for fine tea, French inspired culinary treats, themed music, and of course your delightful company.

Wear your favorite floral or pastel attire, or go full fairytale - you decide! We will put the teapots on and all you have to do is pull up your chair. Prepare yourselves for a lovely day of laughing, sipping, and making memories.

Beginning tomorrow, we're thrilled to bring back tea times on Tuesdays! Our summer hours are as follows: Tuesday through Friday from 10:30am-3:30pm and Saturdays from 11am-4pm (Saturdays are exclusively for our afternoon tea experience only). We are currently operating by reservation only for both Afternoon Tea and our weekday general menu. Please visit our website at www.southern-serenity.com and secure your spot with us! 🫖☺️💗

What a month it’s been!!! 😅 The new HVAC is installed and running beautifully. Thank you all so much for the support and encouragement throughout this time. 🥰We are fully booked with reservations tomorrow and Saturday but plenty of reservations are available next week and throughout the month. Plus starting next week we are bringing back services on Tuesdays! All available dates through the end of July are able to be booked on our website at www.southern-serenity.com and we look forward to seeing you there soon!!

Hello friends! We received word that our commercial HVAC unit is scheduled to be replaced next Thursday (6/4)! Yay!! And FINALLY! 😅 Although we don’t have AC we have been open for some of the scheduled reservations, and have been using evaporative ice cooling fans and that’s been helping keep it comfortable to some degree.

Unfortunately we did have to reschedule our Mamma Mia! themed tea from Sunday March 31st and that event has been moved to Saturday August 1st. There are still reservations available for that event!

We are working on being open for reservations only at this point as we wait for the unit to be installed. If you’re scheduled to come in before next Friday, please dress a bit cooler as we continue working through this.

We have opened reservations through the end of July. We appreciate all of your patience and understanding as we have dealt with this very challenging situation, and look forward to being back to normal operating days and hours soon!

Happy Monday!! I wanted to update everyone on the HVAC situation and let you all know that we will be closed this week. We learned late last week that our HVAC does have to be completely replaced. With the increased heat it is just not possible to have guests in our dining room without air conditioning.

The last 2 weeks have been quite the learning experience and we are thankful that the property owner at our location is working with us to get the new unit. We are waiting on the details of when that will be, but are making calls and are moving this along as quickly as we can. We appreciate everyone’s patience, kindness and understanding and look forward to reopening after Memorial Day! 💕🫖💗

Hello friends! Thank you so much to everyone who came to our Mother’s Day Teas!! 💗 We definitely appreciate all of the understanding, support and encouragement as we navigated the issues created by our HVAC system going out due to the power surge last week. We are still waiting on the third(hopefully final) inspection to determine what it’s going to take to get the air back up and running. Meanwhile we have had cooling fans running that have definitely helped keep the temperatures down as much as possible. We promise we are working on it around the clock!

Since the weather is looking to be cooler this week, we do not anticipate any service disruptions due to it being too warm. However warmer weather is coming and we don’t know how long it will take to get things fixed.

So for the next couple of weeks we will be primarily operating in the cooler mornings, and closing by 3pm. It will just be too hot to have people coming to have tea later than 1pm seatings, especially based on what we experienced yesterday. So for now, if you’re trying to make a NEW reservation in the afternoon, 1pm is the latest we can do for the comfort of all concerned. ***If you already have a later table reserved (such as the 2pm Saturday seatings), we will not be changing those at this time unless requested by the guest.***

Today was tough. Owning a restaurant is real work. They say “never a dull moment“ and that is so true! We came in this morning to a complete power outage and all of our product was a total loss. We had to reach out to today’s guests and reschedule them. It was almost a nightmare. We are so thankful that we have power back on and we spent the day purchasing new everything and getting ourselves back on track for our Mothers Day Teas for the rest of this week. We are so grateful to those guests for their understanding of the situation. And to Ferrell and Alex who came immediately and made calls and helped us put things back in order. We are looking forward to better days!!!
