Hey y'all! During our vacation last week, I had some time of peace and reflection in God's presence, for that I am very grateful. As some of you know, I have been struggling with some health issues for the past couple of years. Unfortunately, these health issues are hindering me from being able to perform all of the physical work that is required with running a restaurant. We thought that with the slower pace at the Tea Room and a much smaller menu in place it wouldn't be so hard on my health.... but, it just was not the case. I am trying to come to terms with my new "limitations" (which is not at all easy for me)!! If you know me well, you know how independent and stubborn I am. So, it has been very hard for me to come to terms with these limitations...
Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided that it is best for us to close the Tea Room as well. It is not easy giving up on my dream and leaving behind all of the wonderful friends we have made along the way!! But, it is imperative that I take steps to take care of myself so that I can be here for my kids, my family, and my loved ones for many more years to come. This closure is effective immediately. 😢..
***If you already have a Tea Party reservation paid for... we WILL HONOR those reservations and still provide those parties for you!!***..
We whole heartedly appreciate and cherish the support and encouragement that we have gotten for the past 7 years both at the cafe' and at the Tea Room!! The memories we all shared will forever be in our hearts. THANK YOU!..
