WHAT's THE PHO?
( we know what you think 😉 but it's not 😛)

Pho [ pronounced fuh] is the Vietnamese national dish; an aromatic, nutritious^ and delicious rice noodle soup served with a side plate of fresh herbs to add as you please.

Pho originated in the early 20th century in northern Vietnam, and was popularized throughout the rest of the world by refugees after the Vietnam War. Because pho's origins are poorly documented, there is significant disagreement over the cultural influences that led to its development in Vietnam, as well as the etymology of the word itself.

Our stocks take around 9 hours to prepare – this authentic preparation being key to the stocks retaining all their goodness and developing their own distinctive tastes and aromas. Pho is brimming with lean meats and fresh ingredients - In fact, it’s the perfect comfort food or pick-me-up!^ We think it’s also the best noodle soup in the world!

Pho dishes are all low in fat, saturated fat & are a good source of 10 of your vitamins and minerals including vitamins C, B3, B6, folate, iron and magnesium - nutrients which all contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue!

Chả cá lã vọng.

In the 19th century, the Doan family were known to prepare grilled fish for their neighbors. The dish became so popular that their local community helped the family open a restaurant named Cha Ca La Vong in 1871. The words "Cha ca" translate to "fish sausage" in Vietnamese. Meanwhile, "La Vong" was inspired by a local statue of Jiang Ziya, also known as Lu Wang (pronounced as La Vong in Vietnamese), the fisherman-turned-politician who symbolized the potential for patient, talented people.

Original “Cha ca la vong” is served with a spicy stinky shrimp paste, which is not favorable for lot of people, so our chefs created a signature chicken sauce to pair with it. Giving you options for the sauce, authentic spicy stinky shrimp paste or chef signature chicken sauce. You're choice! 😋

Ps: “Cha ca la vong” is serving eat-in only for now for $18.
