It's been three years Nov 1st since Carol passed away, and while it's been difficult It's also an honor for me to continue on with her dream. She found this beautiful building in 2007 and it was exactly what she was looking for, she set about filling it with all the lovely things you see today and I see her imprints everywhere, she is woven into the very fabric of the place and it gives me comfort.
Thank you to all our patrons both old and new for continuing to grace our doors and heartfelt thanks to all the hardworking staff, many of whom were here long before me

The year is flying by and it's almost November so it's time for our Thanksgiving menu, this menu will begin on Tuesday 27th and runs through the 28th of November, i have included the Gluten Free and the Vegan/Dairy Free Menu's also. There's lots of weird and wonderful things in Ridgeway but if you're looking for a bit more then come down to the museum Saturday afternoon, it is the original Thomas Company building circa 1875 and it's full of interesting stuff, located directly behind Laura's Tea Room.

We had a recent inspection from the Department of Agriculture and im glad to say that we scored 100 out of 100!

We had a lovely visit from some ladies who were celebrating their birthday's by having Afternoon Tea, one of the party couldn't manage the stairs so we seated them downstairs in the Cafe, and im happy to get a nice picture of our three tiered tray, we do have a couple of tables downstairs in the cafe for anyone who needs to be. Spaces are very limited so let us know at the time of booking, Saturday is our busiest day and tend to book up in advance, call us on 803 337 8594 for more info or stop by the Cafe and have lunch and see for yourself what makes this place so special

Fall is here! It might not feel like it outside just yet but with Labor day just around the corner here is the first of our Fall Menu's with the return of our Warm Apple Bisque soup. We had a visit last week from Matthew and he asked could we help him with a little proposal, of course we said yes, so they can back a couple of days later and they ordered the Laura's Lunch with scones, Pam Davis our server/chef did a beautiful job on the scones plates and we had it arranged so when the scones came out he brought out the ring and dropped to one knee and she said "yes a thousand times yes" Congratulations to both Matthew and Rachel, they're a lovely young couple and im sure you will join us in wishing them both the very best for the future, my apologies for not getting their last names.
