Popee's Cajun Water World slide will not be open in 2026.

Due to unexpected health issues with my elderly mother, i cannot commit the time and effort to my business.
As a small business owner, mother, wife and full time employee, i cannot juggle all of the responsibilities at the same time.

I invite prayers for my mother and family as we navigate through uncharted territory.

Sometimes, life throws us challenges. I know we will make it through this and come out stronger as a result.

Alright ya'll. It is with any exhausted mind, body and spirit that I am announcing that I will be closing Poppee's Cajun Water World this year/ season. The tasks that are ahead of me are too big for me to tackle by myself. Funds are not readily available for me to pay vendors and companies to do the work for me.

Instead, I will take this Summer to continue to work on getting the things accomplished that I can not get done when I am open.

I still work a full time job as well as run Popee's Cajun Water World.

If you are the praying kind, please say a prayer for me.

This was a hard decision and I have tried my hardest to make it work.

I will miss you all this year.

UPDATE- Due to extenuating circumstances, we have made a tough decision to close this year.

We are so excited that Spring and Summer are upon us!

Don't forget to add us to your outdoor activities!

Our 2025 Grand Opening Day will be Sunday, May 25th and Memorial Day, Monday May 26th. Every weekend after that we will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm.

Kids love to have their birthday parties here at Popee's Cajun Water World. Ask us about our party options!

We can host your family reunion, family and friends day, church functions, school field trips, etc. Reach out with any questions!

We offer delicious food options and can deliver!

Good morning Popees Cajun Water World peeps!

If you are a follower of this page then you probably know the previous owner, Ms. Tammy.

If you have followed this page for years, you know Tammy had a liver disease that progressed to the stage that she was put on the list for a liver transplant on Christmas eve.

I wanted to share the great news that she only had to wait until yesterday to receive the transplant. She is recovering now and the process could not have gone more smoothly.

Tammy does not have Facebook but if you want to send her some love I will share your comments with her to let her know how much she means to you all!

If you don't know, Tammy is one of my favorite people in this world. I am so delighted to share the great news with all of you!

The photo is Tammy holding down her post at Popee's Cajun Water World before I owned it. Although she no longer owns it, she will always have a place here.

If you are the praying kind, please say a prayer for the family who lost their loved one that chose to donate and share the gift of life renewed to others.

Today has turned out to be an AWESOME DAY to join us for some fun in the SUN! We are open today for Labor Day and Saturday and Sunday thru September from 12-5. 2 hours for $15.00 or all day for $20.00. Come hungry! We have an awesome menu of fresh items and concessions and snoballs!
