Follow up from our teaser post last year. We had planned a series of pop up dinners with our good friends at Our Paladar that would kick off on the 24th.

Out of care for our friends at Our Paladar, our collaborators, and everyone who planned to join us, we’ve made the decision to postpone our upcoming collaboration dinner.

Recent circumstances in our community have created staffing challenges that make it difficult for us to come together in the way this dinner deserves. At our core, hospitality is about people — showing up for one another, creating meaningful experiences, and doing things with intention. Right now, that means taking a step back rather than moving forward at less than our best.

We also want to acknowledge and stand in solidarity with members of our immigrant community who are experiencing uncertainty and stress during this time. Many of our colleagues, neighbors, and friends are an essential part of the fabric of hospitality and of this community as a whole, and we believe in leading with dignity, care, and respect for one another.

We’re grateful for the understanding, patience, and kindness this community continues to show. We’re already working toward a new date and look forward to gathering around the table again soon. More details to come but we are still committed to Cameo being more active in 2026 and we can't wait to see everyone!

In the meantime, we encourage everyone to take care of one another and lead with compassion.

Tonight is the last night of service for us here at Cameo. It's been an emotional, busy and bittersweet week so far. We are incredibly humbled and looking forward to serving you one last time at our original location. Online reservations are full at the moment but there will be bar seating and hopefully tables will open up after 8:30PM. We will stop seating new tables at 10:00PM.

Thank you for the proper send off Rochester and although the Castle didn't turn out to be the home we hoped for we could not be more thankful for the opportunity to build something truly special over these past years and share it with all of you. We will post on our social media as we have updates to share regarding events, pop ups, etc in the coming weeks/months so stay tuned. You never know when a new restaurant could pop up! Thanks for the memories and support over the years Rochester. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any hospitality needs and please check us out at Cafe Relish located inside the Rochester Athletic Club we're open to the public! Thank you so much for the support last night Rochester. We quite literally ran out of food! Due to the volume of reservations the remainder of the week we will not be offering tasting menus or online ordering for take out. We apologize for the inconvenience but feel we need to focus on the guests in the restaurant as we do not want give anyone a sub standard experience this last week.

Cameo Restaurant will be closing its doors after service on Saturday, April 30th.

We want to thank everyone who has supported us these past 4 years as well as our immensely talented, fantastic staff who have helped us realize our dream of opening our own restaurant.

While we are saddened to write this we are nothing but thankful and hopeful for the future. We are exploring new opportunities and will update the public as we solidify our next move.

Please think about coming in sometime before Saturday night at 11:00PM to send us off in style while enjoying one last order of mussels, one last glass of bubbles or one last brioche bread pudding.

Thank you Rochester for your support and we hope to see you this week!
