Cooking up a batch of 阿嬤的滷肉 (grandma's luro) for 's final AAPI month special.

I love her version because it's not just pork belly, it's got bamboo shoots and shiitake mushrooms as well.

Fermenting tea is a balance of science and art... and allowing bacteria and yeast to do their thing.

Even though most of our flavors are fermented in stainless steel vessels now, jun still requires extra TLC, so they are fermented in smaller glass carboys.

It gives us an opportunity to slow down and observe the beauty of the process.

DRAGON'S NECTAR won GOLD in the jun category at the first ever international kombucha competition in 2022, and are still winning folks over one glass at a time.

Took a quick drive down Atlantic Ave this rainy morning to check out —a new Indonesian coffee roaster owned and operated by sisters Lily and Michelle ☕

We left it up to Lily to recommend a cold and a hot drink from their menu and both are lovely, unique, and very caffeinated 🤪 love that they are highlighting components of their culture in their menu!

It's a soft Fujianese green tea hand-rolled with aromatic jasmine blossoms, fermented with local raw honey for a lovely balance of sweet and tart; the perfect vibe as we inch towards spring 🐝

We always love checking out their cooler offerings when we deliver. Some of the best beers and the best folks around ♥️ (I am utterly obsessed with their Caesar salad made with roasted veggies 🥗)
