Today, we honor and remember all those who died in service to America. On Memorial Day, we pause with gratitude for the brave men and women who gave their lives to defend freedom, protect our nation, and uphold the ideals of the United States.
From the earliest days of the American Revolution, through the Civil War, World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, and conflicts around the world, their sacrifice has shaped the history and future of the United States.
We also remember the bonds America has shared with allies such as Thailand, including the long friendship between our nations and Thailand’s support during times of regional conflict and cooperation.
May we never forget the courage, duty, and sacrifice of those who did not return home. Their legacy lives on in the freedoms we cherish and in the hearts of a grateful nation.

A Mother’s Day message from Michael Travis - My Thai Bistros

My mom prepared me for life. Even though she has passed, I know she helped to create our restaurant - After all she had 5 of us in 5 years. The shear amount of food to feed us was training--though I didn't really do the cooking. .
My mom taught us kids how to drive--even this turquoise motorhome you could see from space. A motorhome that took us to see the great places all over the United States. She and dad created a great space to grow and created a family we are all proud to be a part of.

Mom did provide the guide for me to move forward and not be afraid to try anything. And here I am.

My Thai wife Luksanan --who is the "My Thai" of My Thai Bistros--is a great mother. She is guiding all of us --making My Thai Bistros family as well.

So please join our family to Celebrate Mother's Day, and every day, whether your mother(s) are here, in a different place, or in spirit. We have something special for you.
