Marge Beth purchased the once speakeasy in 1960, through it's transition to her son Ron, then daughter-in-law Fran to now Marge's granddaughter Francine, this New York tiki bar has withstood the test of time, literally weathered storms and through it all kept its nostalgia and continues to thrive.

Today is such a bummer. This has been quite a wacky week between the weather & the smoke. 🫣 Today we’ve pushed our opening time back to 5pm instead of 2pm to give these storms a chance to pass.
Tomorrow looks like the pic of the weekend!

We are OPEN at 5pm. It’s been a bit sunny through the smoke today so it might be a nice sunset if you’re out braving the “Smokey air”. Unfortunately, Amanda Ashley is cancelled for today. That’s a big bummer! Looking ahead to tomorrow, we welcome Rich Greene’s band, Happy Accident for the first time at Marge’s! Fingers crossed that things improve for tomorrow!! I feel like Summer is flying by and short enough without losing out great beach days to crazy smoke from Canada! 🫣🤞🏻

Update: Thanks for all the responses. We’re going through them and you’ll get an email address to send any pertinent info about yourself and availability, etc. Looking for some *beach help for August/September. Message us if interested. *Beach help is lots of walking in the sand, hosting, bussing, a bit of bar backing, sort of a mixed bag of stuff.

So…..it’s definitely not the day we hoped for with this eeeerie smoke, so we’re cancelling the music. However, we’re still open at 5pm if you feel like wandering out on this very strange day?!
