☕️ javarockcoffeehouse is turning 20! 🎉
In 2004, the spot where Java Rock now stands was a neglected concrete-block former ambulance building with a worn asphalt driveway on a key corner in Rock Hall. We were inspired to breathe new life into the property and create a place where people would love to gather, with plenty of greenery and outdoor space to enjoy.
In 2006, that vision became Java Rock.
From the beginning, Java Rock was meant to be more than a coffee shop. We envisioned it as Rock Hall’s “third place”—not home, not work, but the place you choose to be. A place to meet a friend, linger over coffee, sit outside, and feel part of the community. Twenty years later, seeing Java Rock become that gathering place means more to us than we can say.
Please celebrate with us on November 19 as we mark 20 years of Java Rock and the wonderful community that has grown around it. This milestone belongs to all of us, and it wouldn’t feel complete without celebrating it together. 💚
