This July, we are joining the National Recreation and Park Association in celebrating the power of play, nature, community, belonging, and the dedicated people who make these experiences possible.

The City of Rockport Parks & Recreation Department was honored to receive a Mayoral Proclamation recognizing the important role our department plays in enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors throughout our community.

Pictured here is just a fraction of the department employees who serve our community each day through our parks, facilities, programs, and services. Their hard work helps keep our parks clean, safe, welcoming, accessible, and ready for everyone to enjoy.
