FAREWELL FROM OFFSHORE RESTAURANT

The Offshore Restaurant property has been sold and is permanently closed. I am proud to have served Rockport, the mid-coast community and beyond for the last 26 years; so many memories have been made at the Offshore, too many to count. I want to thank all of my loyal patrons throughout the years as they were the reason for my opening and for the Offshore success for 26 years, the many groups that made the Offshore their place to meet, the town of Rockport for its support, and all the people that supported me from the beginning to the end. A special thank you to Alison Johnson, my son Cory Johnson, and Don Luneau they were my inspiration and support from the beginning to open the Offshore Restaurant, they made it all possible, also to my best friend Gibby his wife Chris, and Tina Herrick for their support. i also want to give a shout out to Erkie Fish who helped me as i was opening the doors, Scott Bickford, Charlie Oliver Jr. and Russell Fish for their help over the years, also to Barry Widdecomb for all your help these last few years. I want to thank all of my employees past and present as the Offshore would not have been the special place it was without you. Thank you to Brian Richardson line chef for over 20 years, Sue Bartlett my first dining room manager, Max Mitchell for the early years, a special thanks to my closing staff for all their help in the final days and months. Rosie Rivera for more than 15 years as dining room manager, wait staff long term and loyal Jennifer Ames, Teresa Le, Lisa Taylor, Sandra Vose, and Kelly Vallee, kitchen staff; Chef Wendy Lash for her years of being there whenever needed, Craig Munroe, Bob Rector, and Bonnie Larrabee. it is all of you from beginning to end that made the Offshore Restaurant a family and a success for all these years.

I also want to thank Jaime Fish Connell for all of her support during this transition.

To Tanya Carter and Salty Waves Salon, I wish you the best in your new location.
