We finished another very busy mother's day at the restaurant and got home now. I want to thank everybody who ask me how I am feeling today. I am happy and at peace to remember Mama Sally. It is the third mother's day since my wife Mama Sally has passed away. How time really flies. We have been living a peaceful and busy life to learn more things to keep being happy and keep Mama Sally in our hearts. To me Mama Sally is my star in the sky that blinks at me at night time with her beautiful smile to show me the right way forward. She is the sun in my heart that give me warmth, strength and power to wake up every day to live. I know me and Daniel will always have her love with us, and so we want to share her love with everybody.

Happy Third Heavenly Birthday to Mama Sally!!! ❤️❤️❤️

It is so hard to believe that it has been 3 years since you left on the Mothership this day. There is not a day that goes by where father and I do not think of or miss you. You are with us at the heart of everything we do, ESPECIALLY the restaurant. Though we certainly can't do everything that you could when you were here, we try our best! :) We have so many wonderful friends and customers who remember and treasure you as the pure person that you are Mama Sally, and that is a TRUE blessing. Three years have gone by, and I have been so busy since writing your story, father's story, as well as stories of my own creation; many that I've told you. I've since started a business of my own this year that allows me to be the individual you know me as, and I'm still putting together your special documentary piece by piece. I want to take all the time necessary to ensure it is something beautiful, poignant, and meaningful as the way you live and the person you are! Below I am sharing still shots from footage that will be included in your future documentary! You are HERE with us everyday!

P.S: I baked homemade cookies for us to enjoy today just like what we do.

As per request by so many people who couldn't attend the live event, I've posted the speech portion that my father gave a couple weeks ago at the Rockton Township Historical Society detailing a condensed summary of his journey of becoming an American citizen after escaping China. The sound might be a little quiet, so you may want to turn up the volume all the way. Thank you so much to all of you and the community for your genuine interest in my father's story!

The American Dream: Father's Journey to America Part 1

Hello everyone!

We would just like to thank the Rockton Township Historical Society for being so gracious to offer my father the opportunity to tell his story of coming to America. You have been so welcoming and kind to us, and we were honored to be there last night among such great company. I, personally am so pleased to see my father tell his story; a journey of truly achieving the American dream through honest hard work, perseverance, resolve, and grounded principles. The reception from the audience was truly heartwarming; to see how his story was deeply thought-provoking and inspiring for so many people. The turnout was incredible too and we were really surprised by the amount of folks who wanted to hear the story. We would also like to thank the Rockton-Roscoe News for spreading the word about the event. We were totally not expecting that at all, as my father has always been quite modest about sharing his story. This was ultimately a great way for him to give back to the community of Rockton that has supported and nurtured us all these years, and we are so grateful for that!

I also managed to get a full recording of the entire speech as footage that I can use for future projects and for all those interested who couldn't attend, so I'll figure out a way soon to make that available. Most of all, thank you everyone for this PRECIOUS MEMORY. ❤️

What a LOVELY SURPRISE!!! We were not expecting this at all, but it feels wonderful to know that our hard work and efforts over time have been recognized!
