Today Honeycream will be absent from the highly rated Cartersville Farmers Market. Your support has been appreciated all season long, so we thank you for allowing this absence. We'll return next weekend to finish out the market season through September.

This weekend we roll back to our roots with gelato flavors inspired by the folks who inspired Honeycream. "Just Peachy" a creation similar in flavor to the homemade peach ice cream I made with my grandparents as a kid and "Homemade Vanilla" as well as Turtle take me back home. Later this weekend, we'll pick up those Georgia Grown peaches from the local Kiwanis club and if they are ready, we'll make our famous Georgia Peach sorbet. This place represents so much, but is in large part a representation of my grandparents and the special place they created for us to visit. It has been 101 years since Mimi stepped foot into this world, leaving a big hole I desperately want to fill. Hug your grandparents tight. honeycream.com/flavors

This weekend, we've been preparing a little mid-month flavor change. Flavors normally seen in Fall and Winter are making an appearance. This Friday afternoon, enjoy our original Cinnamon Sugar Brie or White Chocolate Cherry Trifle drowned in the hot Ecuadorian Roasted Corn Blonde Chocolate While you watch the Clydesdales march around downtown. I think a friend named Nick said he would fly in for this one.
