Cookie Extravaganza time is here!! Grand Opening is 9am Friday December 1st! Pick out your own cookies from our stocked tubs. Find our 20+ flavors inside Rome Meat Market every Friday, Saturday (9-5) and Sunday (9-3) December 1st - December 23rd. Pre-order cookies on our website as needed. All cookies will be available and orders received at our Rome Meat Market location 264 Geneva Trail Rome WI. Our candies, dipped brownies, granola and breads are there daily until sold out.
We are so thankful for you and your continued patronage. Thank you for coming back day after day - year after year for our goodies. We truly appreciate the partnership with the Rome Meat Market and family to host our products. Sometimes the most unexpected change of plans turns out to be a delightful blessing. Hello friends! Special Announcement!!
After 7 amazing years serving at the Rome Farmers Market we are making another little shift. Rome Country Meats and Deli 264 Geneva Trail Rome, WI has kindly requested our bakery to be offered through their store. Rome Meats is only a block away from where you usually found us at the farmer market square. Our little family is delighted at this opportunity to partner with Rome Meats. Get your burgers, brats, buns, scones and steaks all in one place.
Thank you to our small multitude of gracious customers who have returned to us over and over again throughout our business years. We are so grateful that you love our products and we love your smiling faces. We look forward to seeing you on our deliveries and we wish you the very best summer of 2023!

Grand Opening Rome Farmers Market May 20th 9am - 1pm!!
Spring is sure feeling good lately. We're excited to get out to Rome Market and see our fabulous people and enjoy the fresh air. We count our blessings to have such a wonderful market and customers.
Bakery orders will resume pickup at Market and our winter schedule of meeting customers around town will end for the summer and all deliveries will shift to our limited availability. We are working towards Saturday hours at Rome again this summer. See you at Rome Market very soon!

Welcome to Higher Grounds Bakery Holiday Cookie Extravaganza!! We are so excited to offer our annual event again this year.
Our host location will be Immanuel Lutheran School 111 11th St N WI Rapids Hours Thursday & Friday 2 - 5:30pm Saturdays 10am - Noon. Begins December 2nd and ends December 23rd. Our event will benefit youth activities as well as raise funds for a much needed update to the school playground. School staff cannot answer cookie questions, so please communicate with us if needed via our website highergroundsbakery.com Its so easy to use.
We thank you for shopping local business and supporting us. We're doing our best to get ingredients even at the crazy prices. It is our goal to not need to raise our prices. You can help by paying cash whenever possible and save us processing fees.
We're hoping to bring breads and pastries each Friday and Saturday of the event. Looking forward to seeing you soon!!
