And just like that, the doors have closed.
Today marks the official end of an incredible 20-year journey for Lazybones Smokehouse. We’ve poured our hearts into every brisket, every rib, every sandwich — and more than anything, into the community that grew with us along the way.
This place was never just a restaurant. It was where friends gathered, families celebrated, and strangers became regulars. It was where our amazing team showed up day after day, putting love into everything they did. And it was all possible because of you — our loyal guests, our BBQ family.
While the restaurant is now officially closed, Lazybones isn’t disappearing. We’ll continue our catering and food truck operations out of Brown Iron Brewhouse and hope to keep bringing our flavor to your events, neighborhoods, and memories still to come.
Thank you — truly — for every order, every kind word, every shared story, and every moment over the last two decades. We’re proud of what we built, and even more proud of the people we built it with.
With full hearts (and maybe a few tears),
Deni Smiljanovski and The Lazybones Smokehouse Team
