Sunshine Store & Cafe! We have inside seating, a front porch, and a deck out back. We are a family-owned business offering daily lunch specials, pond-raised in the USA catfish, sandwiches, burgers, and much more. We also sell ethanol-free gasoline and diesel. SPECIALS:

Thursday - chicken fried steak, lunch

Look, I know it's not fancy, but Sunshine Store & Cafe has PurpleHull peas in the rotation, and they're cooked about the same way I remember having them growing up. Salty pork fat and bits of onion and cooked down to where the peas are just holding their shape but are creamy inside... that's it. That's the post.
