We’re so excited to have Saving Grace Coffee and Nea’s Bakes joining us at our Freedom in Jesus Christ community event!
Grains of Hope will be providing FREE hot dogs, chips, and S’more’s cookies (while supplies last!) You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase delicious hot or cold drinks and homemade treats from these two wonderful local vendors. Be sure to stop by, support local, and treat yourself while you’re there!
So… what is Freedom in Jesus Christ?
If you love Jesus, want to know Jesus, or you’re simply curious about what He’s doing in the hearts of people right here in our community, come and see.
This is a laid back evening filled with uplifting worship music, powerful testimonies, and real stories from local people who have experienced freedom through Jesus Christ from addiction, trauma, mental health struggles, sin, hopelessness, fear, and so much more.
This is a no pressure atmosphere, put on by the community, for the community. It is not associated with any particular church or denomination. People from all walks of life have simply come together with one purpose: to share the hope found in Jesus Christ. All faiths and people are welcome.
The heart behind this event is simple. We want to create a place where people can come exactly as they are and be reminded that there is hope, healing, freedom, and a place for them at God’s table.
We hope to create a space where God can personally touch your heart.
You don’t have to have your life together. You don’t have to belong to a certain church. Whether you’ve walked with Jesus your whole life, you’re returning to faith, you’re carrying questions, or you’re simply looking for hope, you are welcome.
No matter your past or your struggles, you have value, you are deeply loved, and you belong here.
One of my favorite things about this event is that it’s being held in the park. Sometimes walking into a church can feel intimidating, but gathering outside with neighbors and friends under the open sky feels a little easier. My prayer is that everyone who comes feels seen, loved, and reminded of how deeply they matter to God.
