A questions we often get: What do you mean by "There is always a seat at the Farmhouse Table?"
🩵Can we share our hearts with you for a few minutes?
Having a seat at the table means more than just being in the room; it means you’re actively included in conversations that matter, especially in settings where decisions are made that can affect your community or those you represent. When you have a seat at the table, you have a chance to share your ideas, voice your concerns, and bring in perspectives that might otherwise be overlooked.
A seat at the table isn’t just about getting a physical spot; it’s about being heard and valued, with a real chance to shape what happens next. In communities, especially ones that have been historically excluded from important conversations, having a seat at the table represents progress. It’s an acknowledgment that every voice matters, that real change requires everyone’s input, and that the people impacted by decisions should also be a part of making them. It’s a chance to help create something better together, for everyone.
We love you, friends, and we hope you'll come sit at our table anytime- anytime you need someone to talk to, anytime you need a place to come find a friend, anytime you want some time alone to read a book, anytime you want to meet a friend and catch up or play a game, anytime you are hungry (even if you don't have the money- we got you- that's what friends are for), anytime you want to meet as a group, REALLY just anytime at all- we want to be a place you can come and feel comfortable and loved.
With Love- Stephanie and Maurice
