Today, our Colonial Restaurant family is heartbroken as we say goodbye to someone who was so much more than a customer.

For more than 15 years, Max Gasser walked through our doors almost every single day. Over the years, he became part of our family — a familiar face, a true friend, and someone we all grew to know and love dearly.

Max had a special way of making people smile. His kindness and faith touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a faithful man who loved Jesus, and he lived that faith through the way he cared for others.

We will always smile when we think of how he met his beloved wife, Judy, in a restaurant five years ago — a beautiful reminder that God works in wonderful ways.

Our hearts are broken, and we are especially praying for Judy during this incredibly difficult time.

Max was more than just a customer to us. He was our friend, part of our Colonial family, and his presence will be deeply missed by all of us.

Thank you, Max, for the years of friendship, laughter, and love you shared with us. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Please keep Judy and all who loved Max in your prayers.
