Ruth General Store We are excited to announce our new ownership of the new Ruth General Store! Along with the installation of gas and diesel pumps.

The store will see new and exciting changes in the near future such as breakfast, daily lunch specials, pizza, burgers, etc. As a service to the community, we intend to provide Fuel, Hardware, Plumbing, Electrical and Automotive Supplies. We will serve fresh brewed coffee and hot breakfast daily. In addition, a variety of food choices such as Hot Plate Lunches, Pizza, Chicken, Burgers, Sandwiches and Fresh Salads will be available for Dine-In and Take-Out.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire McCullough family. Mrs. Peggy was one of the nicest ladies I’ve ever met. We have only known her for the past two years but that was enough time to see what fine people she and Mr. Pat are. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks to come. I wanted to wait to post anything until they made all of their announcements and arrangements. We will truly miss you Mrs. Peggy. We will keep Mr. Pat fed and on his best behavior. 😇 May God bless!

Funeral Services for Ms. Peggy will be held on Wednesday, July 15, at Shady Grove Baptist Church addressed at 4081 Shady Grove DR SE, Bogue Chitto, MS 39629 (But be advised that the church is actually located 5 miles SW of Ruth, MS, 39662 even though it has a Bogue Chitto address). Visitation will commence at 10:00 a.m. with the services proper starting at 11:00 a.m. and graveside services following.
