TORTAS AHOGADAS
A wet sandwich? What the hell is that?. A torta ahogada consists of a toasted bolillo roll stuffed with refried beans, shredded pork carnitas and pickled red onion. The tortas are dipped into a mild tomato salsa, then topped with a spicy árbol Chile salsa.
They are accompanied with potato crispy tacos dipped in mild tomato sauce with cabbage, shredded pork carnitas or plain.
In La Minerva we will have different Mexican dishes every weekend without missing our speciality which are the #tortaahogada.
We are a young business run by a mom and her two young entrepreneurs children.
