This year’s BookTok Bash on the Bayou exceeded everyone’s expectations…

So much so that the event has officially outgrown its previous venue!

I’m thrilled to share that Bayou Bubbles has been accepted back as a vendor, and BookTok Bash on the Bayou is moving to the Raising Cane’s River Center in Baton Rouge for an even bigger celebration.

📚 Two full days of books, authors, artists, vendors, cosplay, and all things BookTok!

I already have ideas brewing for some brand-new book-inspired dirty sodas, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

📢 Opening Update

We’ve noticed a few different opening dates being shared, so we wanted to provide an official update.

The PLAN is still to open on Saturday, August 1st! 🤍

We are in the final stages of completing our required approvals with the Louisiana Department of Health and the State Fire Marshal. While we’re doing everything we can to stay on schedule, these approvals are outside of our control.

We are working hard every day and are hopeful we’ll be ready for August 1st🤞🏻, but we don’t want anyone making plans around that date just yet.

We also have a soft opening planned before our public opening. Please note that this event is by invitation only for our immediate family, close friends, and our vendors. We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we use this time to make sure everything is running smoothly before welcoming the public.

As soon as we receive our final approvals, we’ll announce our official opening date and any updates right here on our page.

Thank you all for your patience, support, and excitement. We truly can’t wait to open our doors and welcome you to Chatagnier Community Market! 🤩
