Hey everyone,
My name’s Jr., and I hope you’re all doing great. I’m writing to share some news that’s been weighing on my heart. After 16 long and wonderful years of owning and operating Alibi Bar in downtown St. Charles, I’ve decided to retire Alibi. Just like all good things in life, it’s time to move on to new adventures.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the bands that have graced our stage over the years. Your music has filled our hearts and souls, and we’ve cherished every moment we’ve shared with you. And to all our incredible customers, thank you for your unwavering support. You’ve been our loyal fans, coming to Alibi weekend after weekend, creating unforgettable memories, stories, and sharing countless laughs. I’ll never forget any of you.
I’d also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the city of St. Charles for all the unwavering support they’ve provided me throughout my business journey. Additionally, I want to extend my deepest appreciation to the dedicated members of the St. Charles Police Department for their tireless efforts in safeguarding our community. They are truly out there, day and night, making a positive difference in our lives.
And lastly, I want to thank my amazing staff for their incredible hard work. Each and every one of you has been amazing, and I couldn’t have done it without all of you. You all have truly become my family.
Even though this is goodbye, it’s not the end of the road. I wouldn’t do all of you dirty like that. Alibi will be open until the end of July, so there’s still plenty of time to come say goodbye and make some memories one last time.
We will still have plenty of bands, dancing, and lots of drink specials all the way until the end.
Each and every one of you will be deeply missed. Thank you again for everything. I couldn’t have done it without the support of all of you.
