šŸ’›Some traditions are just too good not to support. šŸ’›

Kaylieā€™s annual lemonade stand has become one of those feel-good St. Marys traditions, raising money each year for St. Jude Childrenā€™s Research Hospital.

This week, we rounded up every lemonade sold at the Spoon and then doubled it to help support Kaylieā€™s amazing mission.
šŸ‹46 Lemonades=$103.50 X2 = $207 towards Kaylieā€™s goal šŸ‹

Hereā€™s to kids helping kids, and a community that always shows up. šŸ‹

If you knew my Grandma Joann, you knew she had the greenest thumb around. šŸŒæ Unfortunatelyā€¦ that gift didnā€™t make it to all of her grandkids āœØthankfully, i lucked outāœØ
This beauty has been hanging out here at Tablespoons for about a year now. It started as a tiny baby from Grandma Joannā€™s GIANT spider plant. She once told me that her plant was actually a cutting from her grandmotherā€™s spider plant.

That means this plant,and the one growing at my house,is at least five generations old. šŸ–¤ And if her grandmother got it from someone else? Wellā€¦ this little family heirloom could be even older.

I love that a simple houseplant can carry so many memories from one generation to the next.

Now for the fun partā€¦

We finished up, and survived week SIX of Boys and Girls Club of SM daily summer Lunchesā€¦ and Andrew forgot to post šŸ«£
This time, with the heat wave we had, we switched up some of our menu items for šŸ§ŠcooleršŸ§Š options!
āœØSpoon Style Lunchables, Turkey/Cheese Wrap ups, new veggie options āœØ

Now, for some house keepingā€¦
From now until the end of summer we are asking for some patience on lower Erie Avenue between 1115 and 1130ā€¦ club staff pull up to our front door between that time, so that we may load 120, yes 120 lunches, into their vechile.. it takes us 3-4 minutes to do this.

Please donā€™t honk, use vulgur language or hand gesturesā€¦ and please donā€™t yell out your windowā€¦ perhaps we are feeding your grandchild, niece/nephew or child?
